Welcome to Our School
WEST FREDERICK MIDDLE SCHOOL is near the beautiful Baker Park area in the City of Frederick, Maryland. Serving a diverse community, the staff has embarked on a mission of success for every student, every day. A school program that challenges all students to become lifelong learners and productive citizens reflects our dedication toward this mission.

The West Frederick staff includes an energetic blend of developing and master teachers. Many have earned recognition for their teaching excellence and service to the community. A significant number of West Frederick teachers have assumed leadership positions within the school helping to pilot the school on our never ending course of academic achievement. The staff maintains a tradition of acceptance and caring toward all students.

West Frederick Middle School offers classes for the needs of every learner. We have intervention programs for those struggling learners, and we are also one of two Frederick County middle schools chosen to field test Gifted Learner classes in math and science. We also offer a wide variety of clubs during the school day and after school that engage our students in exciting learning experiences outside the regular classroom.

The West Frederick Middle School Cadet Commitment is to provide a challenging school environment where every student works toward self-improvement.

Every student - Every day!
