Welcome to Our School
OAKDALE MIDDLE SCHOOL opened in January 2002. Our 100,548 square foot facility has 16 general purpose classrooms, 4 science labs, a technology education area, full-size computer lab, mini lab, media center, full-size gymnasium with two conditioning rooms, cafetorium, and specialized art, music, theater, consumer science and foreign language rooms. There is also an outdoor wetland classroom where students can learn about the environment first-hand. Each classroom has four computer stations with access to schoolwide and Internet communication.

Focusing on our mission, “Cultivating Character and Academic Excellence through High Expectations,” Oakdale Middle offers students many opportunities to develop their special talents and explore areas of individual interest. Working together with parents we provide an atmosphere of high expectations where learning is celebrated and our students are encouraged to be the best they can be. Our teachers, counselors and administrators are here to help students realize their potential academically and to have positive experiences socially.

Staff and students respect the rights of others and enjoy the differences, as well as similarities, they find among their classmates.
