Welcome to Our School

Located in the northern region of Frederick City, MONOCACY ELEMENTARY fosters a supportive environment to develop well-rounded students with strong character who will become independent and literate individuals.

Our staff works collaboratively to engage students in learning that will allow them to reach their full potential.

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) strongly supports our instructional program through a variety of activities offered to our students and school community. This partnership contributes to the effectiveness of our educational program.

We have a fully accredited pre-kindergarten program, a Learning for Life program and a magnet site for English As a Second Language (ESL) students.
