Vol. 10, No. 12: December 2007
Do You Realize Your Potential?
Leadership: FCPS Needs Yours

NCLBNo matter what your job, your work really shines when you lead: envision, model, empower and motivate others.

Sure, FCPS has a superintendent to lead the system. But she doesn't lead in HVAC repair or preparing class lessons. Maintenance staff and teachers specialize in these roles.

When a mechanic like Nick Pace leads, he lands FCPS 40 free solar panels to save energy. When a teacher like John Augustine leads, a Career & Technology Center program achieves national distinction.

Hone your leadership skills at the FCPS Summer Symposium. Hold the dates: June 23-24.

Got a great strategy to share with co-workers? Requests for workshop proposals are coming in January!
