Deadlines

Deadlines are critical for several of your benefits to take effect. The following forms must be completed and submitted within 30 days of your hire date:

If you are a new employee, you must enroll for health and FSA benefits within 30 days of your employment date. Late enrollment is not allowed. If you miss the 30-day deadline, you must wait until Open Enrollment to enroll for these programs.


If you are a current employee, you have 30 days from the date of a qualifying event to change your health and FSA benefits, but it must be consistent with the change in status.

 


*These are guaranteed benefits for the employee (subject to maximums) if you enroll within 30 days of your hire date. You may enroll at any time, but the benefits will not be guaranteed. This means that you may have to prove your health status before coverage will be granted.
